Catholic Men's Conferences
Part of a Men's Group is fellowship. We learn in groups, pray in groups, share meals and stories in groups. To be able to share your faith--and it's ups and downs-- with like minded men on the same path is enriching and inspiring. This is the reason attending a catholic men's conference is so important. Hundreds of catholic men under the same roof with the same mind and heart, worshipping God is the stuff that brings us closer to sainthood.
You may ask, why should I attend? Look out and you'll see a wounded world, a world that has many pitfalls that can harm both yourself and your family. It is a world that needs more men of God to stand up, men who are leading their families to virtue, imitating the heroic love of Christ.
Yet, in today’s busy, high-tech world, there are few opportunities where we can take time to reflect on how to better imitate this heroic love; time to put away the cell phone and ipad and be inspired to go further in our imitation of Christ for the sake of not only ourselves, but our loved ones. Attending a Catholic Men’s Conference provides you that opportunity!
A typical conference is for men of all ages, regardless of your state in life or where you are on your faith journey. A Conference usually includes Mass, Adoration, Reconciliation, music, popular Catholic vendors, lunch, and time for reflection.
You will not regret attending. The day will be both inspirational and challenging.
It will be an opportunity to stand up with other men, taking initiative to transform the world by living Godly lives.
Though our Diocese currently does not have a Catholic Men's Conference, there are some around the area. If you make plans to attend one, share it t the group! You may find some willing buddies to travel the road with you!
